About Me

Hi - I’m Francisco, a full stack engineer out of Los Angeles, CA with a passion for building meaningful applications from start to finish. With a keen eye for innovation and creativity, I am always in search for how I can use my skills to revolutionize the world around me.

I’ve worked with startups and organizations to design and launch production-ready platforms, including a youth sports club website serving 200+ families and a training academy platform that increased client registrations by 5x. At Vistora Technologies, I led a team of a team of developers to build a SaaS product with React, Tailwind, and Firebase, collaborating with a team of engineers to ship features to real world users.

Spearheaded the design and development of responsive, production-grade landing pages, authentication flows, and dashboards using React.js, Tailwind CSS, and Figma, transforming ideas into pixel-perfect user interfaces.
Evolved role from frontend focus to full stack responsibilities, including building and maintaining a backend server with Node js and Express js to handle secure data processing and API integrations.
Developed custom API routes for submitting claim metadata and user data to MongoDb, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval while implementing middleware for business logic, HIPAA compliance, and request validation
Containerized the backend application using Docker for consistent deployment environments and hosted it on Google Cloud Platform; utilized Google Cloud Storage buckets for secure handling of uploaded documents

Disney Plus Clone

Built a fully responsive Disney Plus clone using React js, Tailwind css, the MovieDB Api, Context API, Firebase for authentication and Firestore for the database. Users can sign up, log in, and view trending movie and show details from the MovieDB API. Users can additionally save media to their watchlist.
